New Book by Douglasville Author Glimpses Life in Small Town for

Young Boys in Late ‘60’s

Tate Publishing and Enterprises, LLC, has announced the release of The Boys of Enon Road: Summer of 1968 by Georgia author, Allan Thames. The fictional book is a nostalgic look back at a simple time before life became complicated for young boys in a small town. Riding bikes, going fishing, and playing ball filled their days and provided memorable adventures.

“We are excited to offer this book that will seem familiar to so many, recapturing sunlit days of innocent fun and small-town relationships,” reported Rita Tate, Director of Marketing for Tate Publishing. “The book has a “Mayberry” feel – recalling a place that always brings a smile along with great memories.”

Author, Allan Thames, by profession works as a manager for Rayloc, Division of Genuine Parts Company in the Atlanta area. Along with his family he is an active volunteer, dedicating each summer to serve as counselor at Woodland Christian Camp. Thames, his wife and son currently reside in Douglasville, Georgia.
