Tate Publishing and Enterprises is proud to announce the release of the new book Going Home by local author Terry R.A. Eissfeldt. Set in the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island, Going Home is Terry R.A. Eissfeldt’s first novel. Enid Taylor has successfully left her old life behind until the day that a phone call forces her to face the past—and the tragedy that sent her running from family, friends, future and her God. As Enid is forced to return home, she encounters a young horse named Homebody, the demands of making ends meet in the competitive horse world and a new friend who challenges her beliefs about who God really is. According to Donna Chumley, Marketing Representative for Tate Publishing and Enterprises, “We are excited to present Going Home and want to introduce it to as many market venues as possible right away, but especially to the author’s local community first.” Author Terry R A Eissfeldt graduated from Canyonview Equestrian College in Silverton, Oregon in 1980. She has worked in summer camps, helped start a Pony Club, run an equestrian center and competed in Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing and Dressage. She is the worship leader in her local church and enjoys writing poetry, songs and stories. Terry and her husband of twenty-four years, Terrence, have four children. They live in Pt. McNeill on Vancouver Island.
