About the Author:                

   Leon Mentzer  was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania , the son of a naval officer. He was raised in Hawaii and traveled to many naval bases all over the world.

Lives in Central Ill. He is married to Mary. They have been married for over twenty seven years and have twin sons, Justin and Joshua, a cat, Tigger and a lemon and white Bassett named Cassieand her little sister Maddie. They live on several secluded wooded acres, in  a place they call "Happy Hollow".

  Leon walked away from his Real Estate investment Corporation, where he was CEO and a founding Partner.  He decided to change paths and try a new career. He became a stay at home Dad, to oversee and help raise and educate the boys. He decided he wanted to leave something behind for his boys, when he and Mary, were no longer here. Something personal and intimate.  Something that would remind them that they are never all alone.

  He started writing stories to help them understand the wonderful miracle of God's love.

   Leon Mentzer now travels hosting The "information is Power" Marketing seminars for Authors all over the world  and is a motivational speaker for the power of the Word of God.

   His favorite line is, "Not all Angels have wings".

He's has finished his second book,   "Amen!... A simple guide to Marketing Your Christian Book"

While Kremer's book is heavily weighted toward publishers, it is an indispensable reference for anyone who wants a crash course in book marketing. Authors can learn plenty from his lucid style and categorical treatment. I also recommend Leon Mentzer's Amen! A Simple Guide to Self-Marketing Your Christian Book, which is entirely directed at authors. Mentzer's focus is on Christian writers because he is one, but his ideas and advice about what writers can do to market their own books is universal and aimed specifically at just-published, first-time authors.
